With CNN Philippines signing off back in January, Broadcast Network TV5 has taken over their frequency.

TV5 has occupied the chanel frequency of CNN Philippines who have signed off back in January. The frequency is used to air the network’s latest free-to-air channel named RPTV.

“The birth of RPTV is aligned with our commitment to elevate the standards of entertainment, sports and public service broadcasting in the Philippines,” said by Guido Zaballero, CEO and president of TV5.

RPTV airs Live Sports, local action and comedy shows, and the known noon-time show “Eat Bulaga!”. They will also air all Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games and other sports.
