Upcoming HMD Device Leak Reveals Nokia Lumia 1020 Look-Alike

Prepare for a nostalgic wave if you were a fan of Windows phones. A recent leak indicates that HMD Global is working on an Android phone that brings back the design of the beloved Nokia Lumia Yup! the Lumia 1020. This device, called the HMD Skyline, is among several new handsets the company is planning to launch.

Details of the Skyline and other upcoming models were revealed by @smashx_60 on X 27 (formerly Twitter). The Skyline is as a mid-range device, boasting a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It might be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, with a configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will feature a 4,900mAh battery with 33W wired and 30W wireless charging capabilities.

Skyline also suggest it may includes a triple-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro or depth sensor and A 32MP front camera. Now only that it will also have an Improved IP67 rating, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Available in black, blue, yellow, and pink, the Skyline is set to retail at €459 ($491 USD ~PHP 29K) for the 8GB model and €499 ($534 USD ~PHP 32K) for the 12GB version. The leak also suggests that the Skyline will receive three years of software updates.

Additionally, HMD Global is preparing to release other smartphones, including the Waylay, Atlas, Ridge, and Ridge Pro. The exact launch dates for these devices remain unclear. But with the aggressive local release we might expect this devices in the Philippines soon (cross finger). Will definitely keep you posted once we have more details about this new devices.
