Viber has posted on their official Twitter account that the instant messaging application is set to have a dark mode feature soon.
Although Viber doesn’t say much in their tweet apart from a “Coming Soon” message, the company did confirm to users in the replies that the dark mode setting will be introduced in their upcoming versions. They also replied that the future updates might have other features apart from the dark mode and that users might be able to choose themes for their app.
No exact date has been given regarding the release of the feature, but Viber said that their teams are working to introduce it as soon as possible.

Viber is a cross-platform instant messaging app that was first released for iOS in December 2010 and launched for the Android OS in 2012. It was marketed as a direct competitor for the telecommunications application, Skype.
