Vivo recently launched the vivo V27 series in the first quarter of this year. Now, just about two months later, the company is preparing to release a new addition to the series: the V29 Pro.
The Vivo Philippines website has already revealed the key parameters of the V29 Pro and it has some improvements here and there compared to its predecessor, the V27 Pro.
According to the website, the vivo V29 Pro will have a 6.7-inch OLED curved screen complemented with 120Hz refresh rate. That is slightly smaller than V27 Pro’s 6.78-inch screen.
The V29 Pro will feature a different rear camera setup, with a 64-megapixel sensor. The front-facing camera remains the same, with a 50-megapixel sensor for selfies.
The battery is improved too with a higher 5000mAh battery cell coupled with 66W fast charging.
And lastly, the configuration is also mentioned offering 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
However, the teaser page did not mention the processor for the V29 Pro. For reference, its successor had the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
We’ll have to wait and see if it still uses a MediaTek chip, or if they’re going to switch to Snapdragon this time around.
