Vivo V5 Plus officially launched in PH, priced

Vivo finally launched its latest selfie-centric smartphone in the country sporting two front-facing cameras to create bokehlicious self-portraits.

The Vivo V5 Plus positions itself as an upgrade to its sibling, the Vivo V5. Unlike other ‘Plus’ variants, though, Vivo didn’t stretch the screen size but rather gave the phone added features. The V5 Plus gets two front-facing cameras, improved rear camera, and a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor.

Design-wise, the V5 Plus hugely resembles the current iPhone 7 but you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow goodies topped by Vivo’s proprietary skin called Funtouch OS 3.0.

The Vivo V5 Plus is priced at Php19,999 in the Philippines and comes with a free gift set of headphones and Little V speaker. The sale will start on January 28 while pre-orders open today with a free health sports bracelet.

  1. Better than the OPPO F1Plus in almost all aspect. Good for BBK Electronics (Parent company ny OPPO, VIVO at OnePlus).


  2. Now give me reasons why this is better than any Zenfone3 phone. Putek na ASUS yan di pa ako maka move-on. Balita ko bagsak ang mobile phone division ng ASUS last year 2016 (buti nga).


    • Wala pa akong nakikitang official reviews pero maganda daw ang zenfone 3 zoom at pwedeng palitan ang zenfone 3 max dahil malaki ang battery. Punta ka na lang kay gadgetmatch at makikita mo yung picture sample niya ng mario figure.


    • Eh kinalimutan nila kasi yung strategy nila noon na “AFFORDABLE” smartphones eh. maganda talaga zenfone 3 kesa dito, yang gimmick na dual camera kaekekan na yan. sana yung zenfone 4 mejo may mas mura2x na okay ang specs.


    • I prefer the zenfone 3 than this phone. My experience with the zenfone 3 is superb. Although maraming bloatwares, uninstall/disable ko nalang sila. Ung pricing nga lang medyo mahal , pero sulit naman. :) Ang kinakatakot ko lang ung software updates kasi may history ang asus na pangit mga software updates nila haha.
