vivo X100 Ultra with X100s duo launch date and pricing revealed

The vivo X100 Ultra and X100s duo is set to launch, and early leaks have revealed the prices for the upcoming smartphones.

vivo confirmed the launch of the X100 Ultra with the X100s duo on May 13th through their Weibo account.

The event will feature the vivo X100 Ultra, vivo X100s, and vivo X100s Pro. These phones are already listed on vivo’s online store in China, along with their configurations and colorways.

The X100 Ultra has a unique camera setup in comparison to the other X100 series devices. It will provide users with flagship-tier camera technologies that excel in the following:

The micro-gimbal anti-shake telephoto will be able to capture high-speed vehicles
The macro feature of the telephoto camera will have the biggest magnification rate among smartphones — 3.4:1.
The dark light telephoto portrait option will provide clear photos without glaring nor reflections
The telephoto lens can also capture starlight in the night sky.
The X100 Ultra will be able to capture vivid sunsets, sunrise, and flowing clouds with Zeiss technology.

The pricing for all three models have also been leaked in China. The X100 Ultra is rumored to start at CNY 6,699PHP 54,000USD 920INR 77,995EUR 876 (PHP 53,186.93USD 906INR 76,834EUR 863CNY 6,600) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also a 16GB RAM with 512GB of storage priced at CNY 7,499PHP 60,449USD 1,030INR 87,309EUR 981 (PHP 59,538.56USD 1,015INR 86,009EUR 966CNY 7,389).

In addition, the X100 Ultra is also slated to have a top-of-the-line variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage priced at CNY 8,499PHP 68,510USD 1,168INR 98,952EUR 1,112 (PHP 67,478.09USD 1,150INR 97,479EUR 1,095CNY 8,374).

These are surely flagship-level prices, as vivo billed the X100 Ultra as ‘a professional camera that can also make calls’. After all, the vivo X100 will come equipped with a large 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.

Next the vivo X100s will start at CNY 3,999PHP 32,236USD 549INR 46,560EUR 523 (PHP 31,750.19USD 541INR 45,866EUR 515CNY 3,940) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The vivo X100s and vivo x100s Pro are expected to be soft refreshes of the X100 and X100 Pro. The main difference between these are the new models’ flat displays and their use of the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Meanwhile, the vivo X100 Ultra should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
