vivo Y200e 5G launching this Feb 22, more details emerged

This week vivo revealed they will launch a new affordable 5G smartphone, the vivo Y200e 5G, in India next Thursday. Not much is known about the specs yet, but partner retailer Flipkart listed it will have a high refresh rate 120Hz AMOLED display.

The vivo Y200e 5G was announced via vivo India’s Twitter account and will be available in two color options – Saffron Delight or a mystery second color. Saffron Delight has a unique faux leather rear panel finish that vivo claims can withstand rigorous durability testing like denim abrasion and salt spray. Stains like wine and coffee are also promised to wipe off within 24 hours.

More details on the processor, memory, storage and battery capacity were not shared by vivo. However, as a budget 5G option, it will likely offer decent mid-range specs at an affordable price point. We’ll have to wait until the February 22nd launch event for the full specs reveal and price. The vivo Y200, launched last fall, will also be joined by the new Y200e model in India.
