Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 8 now official

Along with the Xiaomi 17 line, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro 35 and Xiaomi Pad 8 32 were also unveiled today. The tablets share several features, including a Matte model, display specs, and more.

Both tablets have a 11.2-inch screen with 3.2K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. However, the Pro model is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The tablet comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also has better cameras, including a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera.

Meanwhile, the base model has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 under the hood. This comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

For cameras, the Xiaomi Pad 8 has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Both devices pack a 9,200mah battery with differences in charging speed.

The Pro model supports 67W of fast charging, while the base model is capped at a 45W speed. Other features include the tablets’ quad-speaker setup and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8 ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box. Color options include Black, Ice Crystal Blue, and Turquoise Green.

Estimated pricing and specs

The Xiaomi Pad 8 starts at CNY 2,199 (~PHP 18K) with 8GB/128GB. Its highest storage configuration is priced at CNY 2,799 (~PHP 23K) with 12GB/256GB.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Matte Edition starts at CNY 2,699 (~PHP 22K) with 8GB/256GB. The higher storage model is priced at CNY 2,999 (~PHP 24K) with 12GB/256GB.

For the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, it starts at CNY 2,799 (~PHP 23K) with 8GB/128GB. It’s also available for CNY 3,899 (~PHP 32K) with 16GB/512GB.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Matte Edition starts at CNY 3,599 (~PHP 29K) with 12GB/256GB. The highest variant is available for CNY 4,099 (~PHP 33K) with 16GB/512GB.
