Yoku’s Island Express is this week’s free pick at the Epic Games Store.
Developed by Villa Gorilla, Yoku’s Island Express is a platforming adventure video game that allows players to control Yoku, a dung beetle who becomes a postmaster. Tasked to save the island from a looming calamity, the player must traverse the island of Mokumana and unlock its secrets and help the locals. Check out its trailer below.
Gameplay mostly consists of sidescrolling adventure, where players need to solve puzzles in order to progress. The catch is that Yoku cannot jump which is why the player must manipulate several pinball paddles located in the map.
Yoku’s Island Express is normally priced at PHP 446.95 but is free until September 9 at 11 PM at the Epic Games Store. To claim and download the game, simply log on to your account and click the ‘Get’ button.
