It seems that the mobile application of YouTube may have a sleep timer feature soon.

This feature allows users to set a specific time to automatically stop playback on YouTube’s mobile app. According to Android Authority 17, it suggests that this may only be seen in Android in the future first.

Android Authority has done an APK breakdown that allows developers to see work-in-progress codes. The sleep timer suggests that users may select ‘Done’ to continue watching or reset the timer.

There is no official revelation on whether this feature will be available in the near future. We will have to wait for Google to reveal the next updates for YouTube soon.
