In this article, we list down the 10 most expensive NFTs ever sold. But first, what are NFTs?
NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens have shifted the way we categorize ownership digitally. The term “fungibility” is derived from the word “fungible” and Merriam-Webster’s dictionary describes it as “being something (such as money or a commodity) of such a nature that one part or quantity may be replaced by another equal part or quantity in paying a debt or settling an account”

In other words, fungibility is a simple concept that anyone can relate to in their everyday lives. A fungible item is something that can be bartered at a 1:1 exchange at the same classification. NFTs have been an increasingly popular investment and collectors are getting into it as the blockchain craze spikes creating some of the most insane prices being paid for.
