ASUS Republic of Gamers has recently announced the ROG G501, its latest gaming notebook and evolution of the earlier ‘500 and now builds on the thinness, weight and performance of the ROG GX500 from last year.

ASUS did not disclose complete specs of the G501 yet but mentioned the following key features:
• 15-inch display
• option of 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS or Full HD displays with 100% sRGB
• dual storage with the option of a PCI-Express x4-based SSD
• twin Sunnon fans with independent fan control for GPU and CPU
• Intel quad-core CPU
• upcoming Nvidia 900-series GPU

The ASUS ROG G501 also claims to be the “coolest and quietest thin and light gaming notebook on the market!”
