Acer Aspire One AO532h sells for Php23,900

Listen to article

Acer’s Aspire One line with the new Pine Trail platform starts selling in stores for a suggested retail price of Php23,900. It’s basically your Aspire One D250 with the new Atom N450 and GMA 3150 upgrade.

Acer Aspire One AO532h
10.1″ display screen @ 1024×600 pixels
Intel Atom N450 @ 1.66GHz
Intel GMA 3150 with 64MB memory
1GB DDR2 RAM
250GB HDD
Bluetooth 2.1
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
0.3MP webcam
8-in-1 card reader
3 x USB 2.0 ports
Windows 7 Starter

Comes with a 6-cell battery (5600mAh) that promises up to 8 hours battery life. The Php24k price tag at Asianic seems a bit high — was expecting somewhere between Php19k to Php22k.

Checked out Asianic stall in glorietta BPI madness. They lowered the price to 21,990 and offered these freebies. Practically giving it away…..optical mouse, DVD writer, case, Globe broadband,4G FD, skin….kaya pala mura ….helpful ang reviews nyo..TY

I have been waiting for Asus Eee PC 1005PE to be available here in the Philippines. So far, I have not found any store selling it. I have seen a 1005P model, but that’s not what I want.

I am now so tempted to buy this Acer AO532h. But before I do, does any of you know if the 1005PE is already available anywhere here? Thanks

Windows 7 Starter Edition is so broken it oughta be free. Although W7SE can still work on that netbook since multi-tasking will be minimal on that low system overhead.

Still best if GNU/Linux or Windows XP will be loaded on this.

To lolipown: The Starter Edition has too many limitations, as described in this review: http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/software/352627/microsoft-windows-7-starter-edition.

Nice specs but one big drawback – Win 7 starter edition is not an OS anyone can be happy about.
