In comparison to the 7900 XT, the AMD Radeon 7800 XT has 29% fewer compute units and ray accelerators, at 60. The ROPs (render output units) experience a considerably more noticeable 50% decline to 96. The gaming clock has gone from 2000MHz to 2124MHz.

The 7800 XT’s standard board power is 263W. The gadget will have DisplayPort 2.1 54Gbps and HDMI 2.1 48Gbps ports with AV1 decoding and encoding capability.

In addition to previous memory reductions, the 7800 XT’s 20GB 20Gbps GDDR6 memory has been reduced to 16GB 19.5Gbps. Memory bus bandwidth reduces from 800 GB/s to 624 GB/s, and memory bus capacity decreases from 320 bits to 256 bits. The Infinity Cache’s memory cap is lowered from 80MB to 64MB.

The 7700 XT is, at least in terms of the GPU, a relatively modest step down from the 7800 XT. It includes the same 96 ROPs, 54 compute units, and ray accelerators. The somewhat higher 2171MHz game clock.

The 12GB of GDDR6 memory in the 7700 XT features an 18Gbps memory speed, a 192-bit bus, and a 432GB/s bandwidth. With a 48MB for the infinity cache, the 245W board power is also not too far off the 7800 XT’s when compared to the specifications.

The AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT is priced at USD 499 whole the 7700 XT has a price tag of USD 449. The graphic cards will launch on September 6.
