ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702) launches in PH, priced

ASUS has officially launched in the Philippines its latest Zenbook and probably its most exciting laptop to date, the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702), sporting a foldable screen, 12th-gen Intel Core processor, and a removable keyboard.

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702)’s 17.3” Foldable OLED (FOLED) touchscreen can fold to a compact 12.5-inch size. This allows the device to offer five different modes: laptop with a physical keyboard mounted on the lower half of the screen, desktop with the screen unfolded and physical keyboard separate, tablet, reader, and extended.

    The price is too much for a new model & a new technology laptop considering that it will later on be upgraded or maybe phased out because of poor performance. We are paying for their R & D cost which is too high. I will settle for the old technology which can do almost the same.

    Check again. They want a 180K downpayment and then want me to pay 6500 per month for 12 months. That’s 78K for a 37K loan. 0% my foot.
