ASUS ROG G550JK gaming laptop now available locally

ASUS Philippines has just announced that the Republic of Gamers (ROG) G550JK, the company’s latest 15-inch gaming laptop that runs on a 4th-Gen Intel Core-i7 quad-core processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 800m-series GPU from NVidia, is now officially available in the country for Php69,995.

  1. Lenovo should be slashing prices on their Y510p series. It is priced the same for the last two weeks, and that comes with dual SLI 755/75OM.

    On another note, I hope YugaTech writes more articles on PC gaming and peripherals. The author should have also mentioned if the G550’s keyboard is backlit, since it’s a important aspect of for most PC gamers out there.


  2. Was actually quite surprised that the price of gaming laptops dropped so quickly over the years. Man, I still remember the time when I first bought my Asus G73JH gaming laptop back in 2010 which is worth almost a hundred thousand pesos. Man, time really flies so fast!


  3. Guys, I purchased this laptop a week ago. I noticed that the wifi signal drops even when I’m next to my router (4 feet away, no obstruction, Wifi Signal strength 4 to 5 bars out of 6). The shop replaced the unit with a new one but the wifi problem is still there. I’m wondering if there’s anyone experiencing a similar issue.
