beastly hardware? not really since the best ‘beast combo’ currently is intel 6th/7th gen + nvidia gtx 1000 series (or amd gpu equivalent)
gtx 960m is previous nvidia 900 gpu series.

another point, 128GB ssd is too low compared to new acer swift offering. if i remember it right, 256GB-512GB yung ssd storage ng acer.
the secondary 1TB hdd is very good though…

el gato are you just another bobo trying to sound cool? gtx1060-1080m is fairly new and you can’t buy anything with that graphics card now here and specifically with the given price. And no there is no AMD equivalent of it for notebooks that can compete with those cards yet. the 128Gb ssd is fairly enough at that price, you have the 1tb hdd for other stuff. And please don’t compare the Omen to a lowly overpriced ultrabook. Acer swift is just another overpriced ultrabook with no discrete graphics while the Omen is a gaming notebook.

May I know the price/estimated price of your offered alternative with those specs El Gato? This would be very helpful for people with varying budgets and gaming laptop needs. Thanks

Probably best to hold off getting this one until a comparison with a gaming laptop with GTX 1050 becomes available. Which could be months away, who knows.
