Iconia A1-810, Acer’s 7.9-inch Android tablet

After taking aim at the Nexus 7 with the Iconia B1, Acer now places its sights on the iPad Mini with the Iconia A1-810 which sports 7.9-inch display and Android Jellybean.

The information came from French retailer, Rue Du Commerce, listing the Iconia A1-801 to sport a 7.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024×768 which calculates to a pixel density of 162 ppi – same resolution as the iPad Mini. Powering the device is a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT8125 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.2 Jellybean.

Rue Du Commerce has priced the Iconia A1-810 at 199 Euros or almost Php11K in today’s conversion. Expect the tablet to be more expensive though when it reaches the Philippines.

Yes, the Iconia B1 is a 7-incher, but I don’t think Acer’s putting it out there to compete with the Nexus 7.

Talo agad to sa iPad mini.

Battery pa lang lugi na at ambigat neto kumpara sa iPad mini.

Kahit dual core ang iPad mini pero ang smooth naman ng flow.
