We’ve previously reported of an unofficial date of availability for the brand-spanking-new Windows 10 OS. Today Microsoft officially made their announcement and it’s actually sooner than we first thought.
The release date is now pegged at July 29, 2015.

The company also mentions that this new update is designed to be compatible with your current Windows device and applications, although the initial release will be fore PC and tablets only. Additionally, Windows users may reserve the free upgrade by following a reservation process.
