  1. this one can seriously rival the iPad! Samsung ftw!

  2. the only word that came out to my mouth…. “WOW”

  3. Wow that will fit my cargo pants pocket hehe, borrowed this from an article I read earlier, The trade-off of tablet is obvious. You win because you can show a bigger picture, which is important, and you lose because it just won’t fit in many pockets

  5. it is above 20k, then boo! if they release it by december, by that time, there will be 4000 peso china tablets too with 3G phone and froyo.

i will still prefer the china tablets

  6. I love this tab way better than ipad when it comes to specs but ipad is
Way better in apps.. Also android is not so good esp. If you are downloading too many apps. It slower the process..

  7. I’m loving my Galaxy S. I would love this more! WOW!

  8. ipad 16gb = $499
    ipad 16gb + 3g = $629

    Samsung 7″ Galaxy Tab = $ ___?

abe, pls post update on the latest samsung “itouch killer” >

    SAMSUNG YP-MB2

specs: 4-inch AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, FM radio, DMB TV, GPS, 32GB of storage, with options to extend the use of micro SD card.

Supports various video and audio formats including MP3, OGG, FLAC, AAC, WMA, WMV, ASF, AVI, MPEG4, DivX, and Xvid.

  9. MY NEXT PURCHAASSSEE!!!

    Pagiipunan ko talaga to!

  10. does this have the same pixel density as the Sony Vaio P series? parang masakit sa mata.. This I would have to check out first before giving my verdict hehe

Spec wise I would say it’s a great tablet (finally hindi na -pad yung pangalan)

  11. Interesting. Im frustrated with my iphone’s worthless bluetooth and lots of limitations(u know). This might be a great alternative to the ipad. Looks pretty too.

next time kaya meron pra kina mura at mahal?

  14. nakow may bagong pagpipilian nanaman! good job on samsung side for releasing their own tablet.

  15. wow that looks really nice. the apps won’t be that bad, considering its got Android’s Marketplace!

i personally do not require a tablet for now, quite satisfied with my Nexus One. i probably might need a bigger screen next year, and the worthy phone replacement for me is DELL THUNDER! so willing to wait in its release rumored to be early next year!

by the way, good “Job” Samsung! the Galaxy Tab turned out so much better than I expected. *applause*

  17. @zurimoto:

    What’s your bases on this?

“.. Also android is not so good esp. If you are downloading too many apps. It slower the process..”

I’m an Android user and I never experience this.

    ================================================

I’m confuse whether to but a new laptop or this…

I love Android. Hope Samsung will support an update for this when Gingerbread 3.0 is officially out.

  18. @xxholicxx
If they can come up with a better and more affordable product, why not?

  19. Can’t wait for this one. I love the android OS & I hope it wont be as pricy as the iPad.

  20. I can’t wait to see this gadget here in the Philippines..

  21. I think this will be priced above the galaxy S.

  22. for sure laki na nman ng gastos ko this christmas…. sana mura lang

  23. nice! pero pano kaya ang app support nito? yung sa apple app store kasi daming choices. apps/softwares makes a big difference imo

  24. Mas mahal talaga ang prices sa Europe… Mas mura yan pag nasa US na…

  25. pricing scheme is usually the same amount but different currency. but we’ll see how Samsung will pit this against the pricing of the iPad, maybe when they pair this with a carrier then the subsidized price would make it more inviting.

there are rumors of the tab pairing with verizon.

  26. @Ryan Ang – Agree! Wala masyadong difference especially when we are talking about prices in the Euro currency vs. US Dollar currency. About $20-50 lang ang minura (sounded wrong haha) sa US ng mobile phones. And about $80 sa laptops.

Basta mas mura sa iPad, this is definitely a good buy considering its size factor, specs and of course, the Flash support.

I doubt this would kill the iPad (sa dami ba naman ng fanboys, pero malay natin) but I’m pretty sure the Galaxy Tab can go head to head in terms of features, sales and customer satisfaction with the iPad.

  27. According to Yahoo! It’s 300$, probably around 18k to 20k pesos in the Philippines.

  28. ^how i wish nasa range nga na yan..if not papabili na alng ako abroad..deym really want one.

  29. ^how i wish nasa range nga na yan..if not papabili na alng ako abroad..deym it’s really pretty!!

  30. micro sim din ba ito? yung voice calls thru sim card ba o may apps pa like skype?

  31. archos 9, n900, and samsung galaxy tab is my best choice as of now!!!!

  32. tingin ko between 35k+ – 50k price nyan satin kasi yung samsung Wave nila 20k.Yung Galaxy S phone naman 30+ with contract. Mahal T.T

  33. Possible bang makadetect yan ng Portable HD such as Samsung G2 Portable? un lang nmn importante pra sa extra storage eh.

I’ll buy that for sure pag pwede sya sa samsung G2 ko. it would be like a mini pc for media and browsing on the go.

  34. Amazon puts Samsung Galaxy Tab on sale for £799…
    ^^,
