Snapdragon 835 details revealed in leaked slides
CES 2017 is just around the corner and we’re expecting Qualcomm to present its latest Snapdragon 835 chipset that’ll power the next-gen flagships for 2017.
Leaked slides from videocardz.com have revealed the specs and performance of the Snapdragon 835. These show us details of what will the silicon maker show the crowd about its newest chipset including the 20% performance boost for VR, app load times, and web browsing when compared to the quad-core 2.15GHz and 1.6GHz Kryo in the Snapdragon 820 and the max clock speed of up to 2.45GHz.
It also shows its competence for the betterment of battery life among devices with the “Efficiency Cluster” that can be clocked up to 1.9GHz wherein 80% of the time will be spent on these cores for better overall efficiency.
The upgraded Adreno 540 GPU has support for [email protected] displays with 25% faster graphics rendering. The Hexagon 690 DSP is responsible for digital signal processing.
We’ll know more about the Snapdragon 835 in the coming days. Expect the new chipset to be used by various OEMs with their flagship mobile devices.
