Jim Palma says:
I do not recommend this HP printer. I bought an HP Deskjet GT5820 for my daughter for her school printing needs. In just 2 years and 2 months to be exact, It doesn’t print any more, and indicated the tri color cartridge problem. I brought it to Silicon Valley SM North for service and discovered there are piles of same HP printer models waiting for parts from HP, most of them are already there for several weeks already and some for months. Their quick diagnosis on my printer is Ink Cartridge and Ink Carriage whick can cost more that P2,000 plus I have to wait until HP sends them the correct parts. Even in our province, Camarines Sur, I inquired from the HP authorized service center and they told me that they only repair HP printers that has minor problems and adjustments, if the printer needs new parts, they don’t accept it anymore since HP does not send them new parts anymore. So just if you’re going to buy HP, just think of it as a disposable printer. Still go for Epson printers with Eco Tanks. They are worth every penny.
