Samsung Galaxy S8 not coming to MWC this February

A lot of Samsung fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the Galaxy S8 which is supposed to be revealed this February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Or so we thought.

Apparently, the Galaxy S8 is not going to attend MWC this year, according to an unimpeachable source familiar to the matter. Samsung will be holding its own exclusive event for the Galaxy S8, most probably at the usual place it’s done it in the past — New York. The date is pegged around the last week of March 2017.

That means we’ll be able to get our hands on the local release sometime end of April or first week of May.

In any case, we will still be heading to Barcelona this February to attend the launching of OPPO and Huawei at MWC so stay tuned for that.
