ABS-CBN debuts PasaHero app

Listen to article

ABS-CBN has formally launched their free passenger safety app called PasaHero which provides citizens with peace of mind when commuting.

PasaHero

PasaHero made its way to AppStore and Play Store back in November of last year. However, it is only now that the Lopez-owned network is officially launching the app in collaboration with DOTC, LTFRB and LTO.

Here’s a short video that demonstrate the PasaHero in action:

As mentioned earlier, the app can be installed on smartphones running on Android and/or iOS. We also tried installing the app on our Nexus 7, but it seems that the current version of the app is not compatible with tablets as of the moment.

Hopefully the future builds of the PasaHero app will have support for more devices including tablets.

I think a summary of the app’s features should have been provided. That’s one trait of a well-written post/article of its kind.

ONE thing for sure with this App, they will discontinue updating this app (before it will turn 1 year) until it’s useless..

Konti na lang Yugatech… ban na kita sa internet ko (and my Twitter followers). Imagine, writing an article about an app without saying what the app does IN WRITING!!! I need to watch a freaking video to know the details? That’s laziness. Haay

Actually, I agree with you. I was reading this article on my mobile and the video doesn’t appear. TRUE, yuga must put them into text so that we can read it for those who can’t view the vid or doesn’t have the time to.

Re-read the article and ask yourself, what this app does exactly?

Just my 2 centavos. thanks.

Hmmm i don’t usually register internet to my phone…but I think this will be useless if you don’t have inet registered to your phone…probably the text alert feature will work…? I dont know.

UPDATE: Was just about to download it but there are more negative reviews saying the app doesn’t seem to work right and supposedly the best feature (sending SMS for panic) doesn’t send SMS at all. Hmmm. And most reviews are dated after the last app update.
What good is an emergency app that doesn’t work in case of emergency?
