Google rolls out spam protection update on Nexus and Android One devices

Google has announced that it has started rolling out the update to the Google Phone app for Nexus and Android One devices, giving it protection from spam callers.

The spam protection update coupled with caller ID gives Nexus and Android One users the ability to see useful information about callers not in your contacts, as well as block and report spam callers.
