After its initial roll out in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda, Viber Out is now ready to take on the world and right from the get go has taken a potshot at its closest rival, Skype.
Viber is looking to bank on its uber-cheap call rates to reel in more users to use Viber Out instead of Microsoft’s VoIP service. Here’s a breakdown of rates per country, complete with a side-by-side comparison with Skype’s current rates:
Just by merely looking at the tariff, one can already tell which service provides more value to money. Mobile users can buy credits through in-app purchase, while Desktop App users can do so using their credit card.
