Apple has introduced new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The new MacBook Pro is designed for developers, designers, video editors, engineers, and other professionals who run heavy tasks on their laptops. Apple said the new chips can deliver up to four times faster AI performance than the previous generation and up to eight times faster compared to MacBook Pro models with the M1 chip. Apple said the new MacBook Pro can reach up to twice the SSD read and write speed of the previous generation, helping users work faster with large files such as 4K or 8K videos and large datasets. The new MacBook Pro comes in Space Black and Silver and runs macOS Tahoe, which includes updated search tools, Apple Intelligence features, and system improvements for productivity. Price and Availability Customers will soon be able to order the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max through Apple’s online store and Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple has a very wide variety of laptops to choose from -- it starts with the 13-inch MacBook Air with a 15-inch variant; and then the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, the former is what we currently been using for about a month now and it comes with the latest Apple M5 chip.
