Acer is set to launch the Aspire GX here in the Philippines on September 11, 2017. The Aspire GX features an AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. Pricing on Acer's website is $799.99 (~Php41k), and we will have to wait and see what local pricing is like when Acer holds their local launch event this September 11. Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore.
