Acer just launched one of world's first convertible Chromebooks, the Chromebook Spin 15, in New York alongside an updated Chromebook 15. As for the specs of the Chromebook Spin 15, we have a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, Intel Pentium or Celeron processors, 4 or 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32 or 64GB eMMC storage. The Chromebook Spin 15 has a starting price of $499 (~Php 26,212) while the Chromebook 15 starts at $349 (~Php 18,332). Both the Chromebook 15 and Spin 15 will be available in North America by July. Earlier at the IFA in Berlin, Acer launched the Chromebook 15, a 15.6-inch Chromebook with upward-facing speakers. Acer's new Chromebook 15 has some changes over its previous models. The Chromebook 15 will support Android applications via Google Play Store. Acer has officially unveiled the Chromebook Plus Spin 514, its first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, offering built-in Google AI features, impressive battery life, and a rugged convertible design—all headlined for creators, students, and professionals who need performance and portability.
