Acer just launched one of world’s first convertible Chromebooks, the Chromebook Spin 15, in New York alongside an updated Chromebook 15. The new Spin 15 features a 360-degree hinge and a Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad.
As for the specs of the Chromebook Spin 15, we have a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, Intel Pentium or Celeron processors, 4 or 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32 or 64GB eMMC storage. For I/O, we get two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 and USB 3.0 ports, and a microSD card reader.
Moving on to the updated Chromebook 15. The laptop is powered by a 15.6-inch Full HD touch or non-touch display, Intel Pentium or Celeron processors, up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage. For I/O, we have two USB 3.1 Type-C and USB 3.0 ports.
The Chromebook Spin 15 has a starting price of $499 (~Php 26,212) while the Chromebook 15 starts at $349 (~Php 18,332). Both the Chromebook 15 and Spin 15 will be available in North America by July.
