Acer's Swift series has always been regarded as the thinnest and lightest of laptops. Now at IFA 2018, they launched the world's lightest 15-inch laptop -- the Acer Swift 5. Once again here comes a new Swift 7 that sports an even thinner frame than the one launched earlier this year at CES 2018. The Acer Swift 5 with a 15-inch display will be available in North America starting January 2019 with a starting price tag of $1,099 (~Php 58,755). Acer has just unveiled the Swift Air 16, its newest ultralight laptop, aimed squarely at modern mobile professionals. Weighing in at under 1 kilogram for the IPS model and just over 1 kg for the AMOLED variant, the Swift Air 16 slots into Acer’s premium thin-and-light lineup but with a larger, 16-inch display giving users an expansive screen real estate. Acer has expanded its AI PC lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 with the introduction of the new Swift Air 14 and Swift Spin 14 AI laptops, both powered by Intel’s latest processors.
