The new Alienware 17 R3 gaming laptop which boasts a 17.3-inch UHD display, Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 16GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M 4GB GDDR5 GPU, is now available for purchase in the Philippines via Villman. Alienware has announced a major refresh of its gaming laptop lineup at CES 2026, bringing back the iconic Area-51 name. The new lineup includes the Alienware 16 Area-51, Alienware 18 Area-51, and a slimmer Alienware 16X Aurora, all powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. The 16-inch model sports Alienware's first OLED display with 240Hz, while the 18-inch version sports a 300Hz display, which is enormous for gaming. It also comes with Alienware's Cryo-Chamber cooling system, which increases the usage of power with reduced noise. On the other hand, the Alienware 16X Aurora aims at gamers seeking power in a more portable package. Apple's website & retail stores do not have it yet as of the moment, but other retailers are starting to sell it along with the iPad Air early - the new iPad Mini with Retina Display can now be purchased locally at Villman. One local retailer, Villman, has announced an iPad Sale and offered discounts between Php1,000 to Php2,000 per device.
