Sony Philippines has recently opened the pre-order for its latest full-frame interchangeable-lens camera, the Sony Alpha 1. The newest Sony Alpha 1 boasts high-resolution and high-speed performance with a brand new 50.1MP full-frame stacked Exmor RS image sensor, up to 120 AF/AE calculations per second, and 8K 30p 10-bit 4:2:0 video. The Alpha 1’s shooting capabilities are further enhanced by a 9.44 million dot OLED Quad-XGA electronic viewfinder, with a refresh rate of up to 240 fps. Moreover, the Alpha 1 is also capable of 4K 120p / 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 recording and includes S-Cinetone color. The Alpha 1 also features AI-based Real-time Tracking that automatically maintains accurate focus. The Sony Alpha 1 is priced at PHP 319,999. After countless rumors and leaks, Samsung has finally unveiled the new Galaxy Alpha; a 4.7-inch Android handset that runs on the company’s own octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and is backed by six-core Mali-T628 GPU. As far as its design goes, the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha looks like a miniature Galaxy Tab S 8.4 with its thin body complete with metal trims around it and a perforated back panel.
