The Phenom X4 9950 is the latest and fastest among AMD's quad core series. You will notice the ones from AMD and Intel are already capable of supporting DDR3 RAMs. On the other hand, the newer ones by AMD offers single-core and dual-core CPUs with higher cache memory.
