The Unicode Consortium unveiled their latest emoji list for 2019, adding 230 new symbols. In their Emoji 12.0 update, 59 new emoji such as a yawning, pinching hand, drop of blood, waffle, ice cube, ringed planet, deaf person, and mechanical arm have been added. The new emojis will have its initial release in March but the rollout on mobile phones will most likely occur around September or October. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps.
