Google has just revealed that it has now updated the design of the Android logo to be more modern as reported by 9to5Google. The most obvious change comes in the fact that Google has now shifted to a more 3D representation of both its wordmark and Android robot following this trend. This is quite a departure from recent design trends where most companies tend to shift towards flat, minimalistic designs for their logos. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps. Android 12L is set to release in early 2022, but the new features are now available on the 12L developer preview page.
