Apple is in partnership with Baidu to integrate its AI technology into iPhones in China. With this, Baidu’s AI services are set to be exclusively available on Apple devices in the country starting with the anticipated iOS 18 release this year. Baidu’s Ernie Bot, one of the approved large language models (LLMs) in China, has been chosen by Apple over other potential partners. As for Baidu, this is a major win for the company that positions them and their AI product at a prominent place in the Chinese market.
