Xiaomi Philippines announced that the brand's gaming-centric smartphone, Black Shark 2, will be arriving in the country. UPDATE: We just got word from Xiaomi Philippines that the arrival of the Black Shark 2 smartphone as teased by Xiaomi's distributor in the country, Mi Store Philippines, is not yet official. The image used in the Mi Store Philippines' post shows the rear of the Black Shark 2. It's unknown yet if Xiaomi will also bring in the more premium sibling of the Black Shark 2, the Black Shark 2 Pro, that boasts a Snapdragon 855+ chipset. Xiaomi has announced its third gaming smartphone today called the Black Shark 2 with improved specs and features. The Black Shark 2 also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, RGB lighting strips, a vapor chamber cooling system, and a 4,000mAh battery with 27W (from 18W) fast charging. Black Shark has introduced the GS3 Ultra, a rugged smartwatch that builds on last year’s GS3 with tougher construction, more advanced positioning, and longer battery life. Black Shark says users can choose from up to 270 watch faces out of the box.
