The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will begin the implementation of a cashless transaction system using beep cards on public utility buses (PUBs) of the EDSA Busway System. In line with this new policy, LTFRB encourages commuters to purchase and load their own beep cards to avoid inconveniences upon the implementation of the automated fare collection system. “We want to ensure that commuters along EDSA will have a safer and comfortable travel, while at the same time providing them a more seamless and efficient system of public transport,” said Pastor. A joint project of the DOTr, LTFRB, and MMDA,  the EDSA Busway transport commuters from Monumento to PITX and vice versa, through a dedicated median bus lane which lowers travel time to just less than an hour. Both phones feature a 200MP main camera system, water and dust resistance, and large AMOLED displays, making them suitable for photography, entertainment, and everyday tasks.
