Samyang has officially unveiled its AF 12mm f/2 RF-S Ultra-Wide Angle Prime Lens, marking its entry into Canon’s RF-S mount ecosystem. Photographers using Canon APS-C cameras like the EOS R50 and R10 can enjoy its lightweight build and ultra-wide perspective for creative compositions. The camera is mounted on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal and includes a 2-inch rotatable OLED display, three built-in microphones, 103GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. I got some shots and price list below: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came out sometime last week -- boasts of a 21.1 megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor, DIGIC IV. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800. Among the dozens of new P&S cameras that Canon Philippines introduced yesterday, the Powershot D10 attracted the most curiosity. Actually, the Canon Powershot D10 can be considered as a submersible since you can bring it on a diving trip up to a depth of 10 meters (33 ft).
