With that being said, several local government units (LGUs) are providing aid to the public by using online registration platforms to better survey and understand the scope of what actions are needed to be done. The province of Cavite, under Governor Boying Remulla, has signed a memorandum of agreement with Converge to start laying fiber optic cables to service the entire population of the province. The entire project will be completed in 7 months and will target a minimum speed of 20Mbps for Cavite customers.
