Sony Electronics Philippines today announced the arrival of the Sony BURANO, a new addition to its CineAlta family of digital cinema cameras. It also boasts the world's first in-body image stabilization (IBIS) for cinema cameras, compatible with both PL and E-mount lenses, allowing for smooth, handheld shooting. Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a new hybrid instant camera that blends photography, short-form video, and instant printing into a single creative tool. Announced by Fujifilm North America, the mini Evo Cinema expands the instax lineup with a cinema-inspired design and a stronger focus on personalization and storytelling. Designed as a 3-in-1 device, the instax mini Evo Cinema lets users shoot still photos, capture up to 15-second video clips, and instantly print images on instax mini film. At the heart of the camera is the new Gen Dial™, a first for instax cameras, which applies visual styles inspired by 10 different eras from the grainy tones of the 1930s to the bold colors of the 1980s and the crisp look of the 2020s. In Cine mode, the camera automatically stitches clips into a single smooth video, while a built-in digital zoom lever offers more creative control over framing. The camera also supports video printing, generating instax mini prints embedded with QR codes that link back to playable video clips on a smartphone, with content stored securely for up to 24 months.
