Cherry Mobile is set to release their most affordable quad-core smartphone this year, the Cherry Mobile Flare HD, with a suggested retail price of Php5,499. Cherry Mobile’s Flare lineup has always been a crowd pleaser because of its reasonable setup and dirt cheap price tag. The latest addition to the gang, the Flare HD, is no different than the rest sporting a pretty decent hardware configuration and a price tag that’s said to be cheaper than the CM Apollo. However, the lack of “flare” (pun intended) in the design department actually bode well for the handset. The minimalist design, uncluttered button layout and the non-glossy back panel makes the Flare HD a joy to hold and use.
