Converge has now finally announced its PBA team which will go by the “Fiber Xers” to celebrate and represent the company’s identity as one of the country’s leading internet providers. To make things easier, we’ve put together a comprehensive comparison of the postpaid fiber internet plans offered by the major telco companies in the Philippines — namely PLDT, Globe, Sky, and Converge. For example, PLDT’s Fiber Unli Plan 2099 has a speed boost of 700 Mbps, which is faster than Globe’s GFiber Plan 1999 or Converge’s FiberX 2000 peso plan — both of which are capped at 500 Mbps. Take the TruFiber Plan 1500, for example: its regular speed is capped at 200 Mbps, and while its speed boost reaches 300 Mbps, that’s exactly the same speed as Converge’s FiberX 1500 peso plan. New and existing Converge FiberX subscribers in Metro Manila can level up their entertainment experience with a free upgrade to Vision, the company's pay TV service. To express gratitude to subscribers, Converge implemented automatic nationwide internet speed upgrades for existing FiberX customers. Converge ICT has announced that it's rolling out high-speed broadband services at up to 100Mbps using fiber technology.
