The PLDT Group has over 140,000 kilometers of fiber optics cables that caters to the demand of Filipinos for a faster and more reliable high-speed broadband service.

In Luzon, the northern provinces of Laoag, Baguio City, Vigan City, and Tuguegarao can now apply for Home Fibr. Central and southern provinces including Tarlac, Cabanatuan City, San Fernando, Puerto Princesa, El Nido, Sorsogon, Naga City, and Legazpi City are also covered.

For the Visayas, we have Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran. While in Mindanao, fiber lines are available in Cotabato, Davao, General Santos City, Koronadal, and Zamboanga.

The cheapest PLDT Home Fibr subscription available is the Plan 1899 which has speeds of up to 50Mbps and 80GB of allowance. You may check out the available plans here and also check if your area is covered.

  1. Still not enough, I’ve been trying to upgrade our line to PLDT Fibr since last year (we’re only 50m away from an area with Fibr). They haven’t done anything to help with our request to this day.

  2. They “Covered” not “Provided” the homes, meaning they HAVE fibr but they’re not selling it to just anyone :P

  3. Is this 2.5M Fibr plans? Because my cousins are connected via fiber and using the Fibr modem similar to us but they only applied and getting a PLDT Home DSL plan with a DSL speed.

  4. Lol wala pa kami dyan sa 2.5 million na yan! Metro Manila hindi pa fully fiber Liar i phase out nyo muna yung dsl nyo at i force migrate nyo lahat to fiber

yung mga mayayaman na village at Barangay lang inuuna nyo leche kau! Can’t watch streaming without buff ang mahal ng dsl ng Pldt bagal pa!

  5. Still waiting for an official word for their 20Mbps Plan 1899

  6. 50Mbps, 80GB data allowance. very fast downloads for 3 days, then no internet for the next 27 days.

hayyyy, kailan kaya maging unli data ang pilipinas? kailan kaya ako makatikim ng house of cards binge watching?

  7. Alam kaya ng mga commenters sa taas ang mga pinagsasabi nila? We’ve been a customer of PLDT for nearly 3 years now. We have plan 1299 and never have i experienced buffering while streaming videos on youtube (atleast at 480p, but now that they upgraded I watch 720p vids smoothly with no lags) there are days na down sila pero hindi umaabot ng 1 hour yung problem, we just need to restart our modem. Dati kaming magkakapatid lang ang gumagamit ng wifi, kaso ngayon pati parents ko marunong nang mag fb at instagram kaya we are considering na mag-upgrade to a fibr plan. I am so tired of people telling na PLDT ay may bad service when I never had one. You all are a bunch of trolls.

  8. “80GB of allowance” nahhhhhhhhhhhh.
