Meta is rolling out an update to Messenger, specifically to end-to-end encrypted chats. Rolling testing end-to-end Encrypted Group Chats and Calls in Messenger is now available to everyone. GIFs and Stickers are also now available via encrypted chats as well as reactions. In end-to-end encrypted chats, users can now reply to specific messages much like regular Messenger chat. Verified badges are also now available in encrypted chats so that users can identify authentic accounts. Lastly, users can save and edit photos and videos from encrypted chats as well.
