SSS has just announced that they have recorded 35.27 million transactions and queries in the SSS Mobile App from January to August 2021. As of August 2021, SSS recorded 9.37 million downloads of the app on the Google Play Store, 8.85 million downloads on Huawei’s AppGallery, and 1.25 million downloads on the Apple App Store. It is the third most downloaded free mobile application in the productivity category on the Google Play Store. Since its launch in 2018, the SSS mobile App has facilitated a total of 109.73 million transactions and queries. Employers can also use the app to check on the SSS and Employees’ Compensation contributions program of their employees and check the status of loans and loan payments. The SSS Mobile App is available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has launched the PANaHON mobile app, a smartphone-friendly platform designed to provide real-time weather information and improve public preparedness for weather-related hazards. Introduced in the middle of Typhoon and Flood Awareness Week 2026, this app was, like pretty much, fully developed by PAGASA and it works as the mobile counterpart of its PANaHON web platform that was launched last year.
