Epson Philippines is introducing their M-Series of printers as a more economical alternative to laser printers. For Php565 per bottle, the M-Series printer has an ultra-high yield of 6,000 pages, has a print speed of up to 34ppm (15ipm), similar to laser print-outs (the pigment-based ink of the Epson M-Series produces water-resistant and fade-resistant prints), and is energy efficient (lower energy consumption than conventional laser printers). "The M-Series is Epson’s superior alternative to the laser printer. However, this is not to say that Epson is abandoning its L-Series laser printers. In the meantime, Epson still has laser printers in their product lines," clarified Cabrera. Epson has introduced the TM-m30II-SL in the Philippines, a compact receipt printer designed for retailers shifting to smaller checkout counters and tablet-based point-of-sale setups. Once such printer is the Epson EcoTank L11050, a robust A3 ink tank printer designed for high-volume and versatile printing needs, making it ideal for both professional and personal use. The printer isn't too big, measuring 498 mm × 358 mm × 165 mm and weighing 6.4 kg, the printer is 40% more compact than its predecessor (Epson L1300), making it suitable for small office spaces.
