To make things easier, we’ve put together a comprehensive comparison of the postpaid fiber internet plans offered by the major telco companies in the Philippines — namely PLDT, Globe, Sky, and Converge. Overview: ISPs’ Main Fiber Plan Offerings [table id=2071 /] On the surface, internet speeds from all ISPs’ primary offerings have been slightly, if not significantly, faster than before. Additionally, these plans have surpassed 1000 Mbps, or up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) of internet speed, which, as you’d expect, are offered in each ISP’s most expensive fiber internet plan. Moving on, let’s now take a closer look at each ISP’s fiber internet plans. Their Unli Fiber plans start at PHP 899 per month, capped at 35 Mbps, and go as high as PHP 9,499 for 1 Gbps. Interestingly, its Fiber Unli Plan 2699 also offers 1 Gbps of internet speed, but that’s because of the time-limited speed boost. Additionally, Globe’s the only telco company that offers up to 1.5 Gbps through GFiber Plan 7499 which significantly costs less in contrast to PLDT’s Fiber Unli Plan 9499. Its FiberX plans start at PHP 1,500 for 300 Mbps and just add a couple of thousand pesos more (at PHP 3,500) and you now have access to 1 Gbps of internet speed.
