Globe has announced that it has signed up its first 1Gbps broadband plan customer. The Estrada family from Acropolis, Quezon City, one of the first sites included in Globe's initial roll-out for its new Platinum Broadband Plans, is the first customer to subscribe to the 1Gbps plan. Globe AT HOME is giving eligible customers free internet speed boosts of up to 1Gbps along with free WiFi 6 modem upgrades to help improve home connectivity for work, school, and entertainment. Globe announced its customers in Iran who use MTN Irancell as their partner will receive billing adjustmentsand load assistance. “With GDay, we want to show our customers that loyalty is more than just collecting points,” said Bianca Wong, Vice President and Head of the Feel Valued Tribe at Globe. The GDay Surprise Gift on GlobeOne lets customers check in daily for a new surprise. Globe recently hosted the GDay BINI Fan Meet at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre, where more than 1,500 customers came together to sing, dance, and celebrate with the country’s top P-pop girl group. It is the centerpiece of how Globe is reimagining customer loyalty.
